My Little Sister :-)

My sister Britney is the best sister ever! She is such a weirdo but if you know her then you know its totally her! So.... lets get to know her!
She is almost 17 and she is a Junior at Copper Hills High School. Its her first year at Copper Hills, she went to Alta High (Go Hawks!) last year, but then we moved all the way out west right next door to Copper Hills so now of course thats why she goes there.
She tried out for Varsity Cheer and she made it! Here is her team.... she is the farthest on the right........ She has loved being a cheerleader, although it was a sudden thing she did, we were all supprised when she came home one day and said, "I made Varsity Cheer at Copper Hills!"
I love spending time with her, we dont get much time together but we make the most of what we get. We are both very busy girls, I have 2 jobs she has dance and cheer, but we will have a great time together! We are all very proud of her and hope the best for her. She is weird little girl, but that is what makes her Britney, WE LOVE YOU BITTY BOO :-)

Salon Luxe

Yay! Salon Luxe is my new salon, its so great! Its a little slow right now, but its a new salon so it will pick up. When it gets going it will be such a great place to work!
Right now we just do hair, I am the only one who does nails.... which is a great thing :-) and we do facial waxing.
We have an entire unfinished basement that we will turn into a spa area where we will do facials and massages and full body waxing. I cant wait for that to be finished becuase in February I am going back to school to get my Master Esthetician license.
Anyway, send EVERYONE YOU KNOW!! The address is 579 east 100 south. I know its far away and downtown, but it will be so worth it when you come!

So its officially Fall...... that means its going to get COLD soon. Eh I hate the cold, my car sucks in the snow and I can never get warm. And it seems like Winter never ends....... I wish I could move to Hawaii in the Winter. That would be so nice.

We Set A Date!!

So Joe and I have set a date for our wedding..... June 16th at Millennial Falls. Its so beautiful and they have everything there that you need. They have entire packages and its so easy and stress-free! This is the fountain where we are going to be married.......

And this is where the reception is going to be. After the reception, were going to have some dancing, they have a great little cute dance floor.........

I absolutely cant wait, but I know it will go faster than a heartbeat, I just cant think about it too much. But I hope everyone likes it, because I just LOVE it! The first time we walked in, Joe said that this was the place he wanted to get married, and he would not settle for anything else.

Just Workin'

So its 2:15 on a Saturday, and I'm just sitting here with Emily, a girl who I work with at the salon. She has been here all day and nothing has happened. Nobody has come in or called. I got here at 1 and I'm already bored.
Seriously people.... I know its a new salon but there should be SOME people coming in right? So get the word out to everyone you know that were sitting here together.... doing nothing.

Chicago and Green Bay...Best trip ever!!

So as you all know me, Joe, Miah and Belinda went back to Chicago on September 5th, which turned out to be one of the greatest days of my life... Joe asked me to marry him...
The trip was great! We ate lots and lots of pizza...
And we went to see the musical Wicked..... and it was totally wicked!!
We ate Dunkin Donuts every morning for breakfast, but we walked everything off during the day. We went to Nike Town where Joe and Belinda got some new cool Nike shoes, the Hersheys store which was delish! And yes..... we even went to H&M!
We made our way down to the Navy Pier, where we didn't get to go to last time. Belinda and I were scouting out cute navy guys.....
Saturday night we ate at the House of Blues which was so much fun! We think Miah enjoyed it the most though.....
After dinner we tok a very LONG walk to the Second City, its a comedy club where people like John Belushi, Tina Fey and John Candy first started out. It was so funny! There was lots of "How are ya?" "How are ya doin?" and "Have you ever merged on the freeway?"
Sunday we went to an awesome place, its called the ESPN Zone. There was a huge wall where there was like 12 different tvs and every game that was on at that time was playing on a defferent tv, they even had tvs in the bathroom!! We sat at a cool booth where there was a little tv at our table, Joe watched his Lions get Spanked by the Falcons on that little tv while we watched Brett Favre play a great game for the Jets. After lunch we drove to Green Bay...FINALLY!!
Monday, game day! We got up early, ate at this great little bagel place and off to tailgaiting we went! We stopped at the pro shop,
We ate a little at Curlys Pub (in Lambeau Stadium) and wandered down to Packers Hall of Fame. We ate lots of fried cheese and big brauts. Before we went into the stadium we made our cute little signs
The Packers ended up winning, just what we could have hoped for! Miah made some friends with some drunk old ladies.... that was pretty funny.
The trip turned out to be everything we had hoped for and even more!! Hopefully we can do it again soon!
