Every year, Joe's sister, Jen and her husband Jeff have a Halloween party and its always so much fun! Its the only time of the year that we see all of Jeff's friends, who are absolutley INSANE, but they make the night memorable. This year was a great one!
It took us forever to think of a costume.... and at the last minute we decided CHEAP! We be thuggin.
Ya, he's ICE COLD..............
Ansley was so cute, she was Dorothy. She was a little scared of Matt's costume, but she did alright. She stayed with Grandma that night :-)

Finally 21 And Loving It!!

On October 16, I turned 21! It was great, I had such an awesome day! I spent the whole day with my dad, and we had a blast! Pretty much the best and most expensive birthday ever, but it was so cool.
My dad and I went to Miller Motor Speedway and we did the Mustang Experience, and all I have to say about it is SWEET.

We started off taking this class about how to drive on the track, the speeds and how to take corners and stuff, not too complicated. So then we head onto the track, and there were all the cars lined up waiting for us.
It was so cool. The only thing I was not a fan of was that we had to wear this ugly helmut the whole time.
We were strapped in the car the whole time with the racing seatbelts that trapped you in the seat and you could not go anywhere! But I didn't really mind that.
It was so weird....
it was like I was sitting in my car, but a more powerful faster cooler car! We started off driving 10 laps around the track ourselves, we got to go whatever speed we were comfortable with and it rocked. It was so much fun.
When we finished driving around the track we jumped in the passenger seat with an instructore and they took you around the track twice the way they drive and OH MY GOSH..... it was so cool! I thought I was driving fast, oh no, they would just skid around corners and we were all over the track, it was so cool! And the guy was so comfortable, as he was flying around the track he was asking me all these questions like what I did for a living and how he has been racing since he was like 9 years old, he was really cool. He was British and so funny.
It was such a great time, were totally doing it again next year!
And it doesn't end there! After we took our driving lesson we got back in MY car, which does not seem near as cool as it used to be after driving those sweet suped up ones! Well we got in the car and we drove to Wendover! Ha ha
When we got there we gambled away lots of money, we played the slots and Blackjack. My first game I played I got Blackjack! Ya, and that was the only beginners luck I had. After we gambled for a couple hours we got some lunch and headed home, it was a long day but a great one! One that I will never forget :-)

Family

As you all know, my parents are divorced. They separated when I was in 8th grade, and their divorced was finalized when I graduated high school. It has been a while, so you think that they could put the past behind them and GROW UP right? No.....
Last night Millennial Falls, the place where Joe and I are getting married, had an open house. They had samples of all the food you could get, the desserts, it was fun. You could look around and check the place out. It was fun for the most part. Out parents met each other, which went smoothly. Luckily Joe's parents are still happily married to each other. They all like each other and got along great.
Now my parents on the other hand........ I have no idea what I am going to do for the wedding. They would not even talk to each other. My mom had her new boyfriend, Steve come, and Dad brought Tonya of course. Then my sweet mother had her mom and sister some. So it was Me, Joe, his parents, my parents, Tonya, Steve, Grandma, and my aunt Sherri. I didn't mind that everyone came, but my parents did not even talk to each other! They didn't look at each other, no communication at ALL! The whole night I had this huge case of anxiety that something would go wrong. Nothing went wrong but i wanted them to at least say hi to each other, it was nerve wracking.
I just want them to get along. I'm not saying be best friends, I just want them to be rational together. One time at one of Brit's and my dance competitions they actually said hi to each other. I thought things were getting better...... but no. They have not talked since.
I'm crossing my fingers that my wedding will be great and they will get along and be happy together and talk with one another.
I have like 8 months, but I have a lot of work to do to get those two to get along and BEHAVE!!

Fall Time

Everyone knows that i do NOT like Winter. It snows and its freezing and my car does not like the snow either, but my favorite season of the year is Fall. I love wearing cute jackets and jeans and seeing all the colors of the trees change, its so pretty. Everything about it is so calming, the world looks so pretty and it smells so good. Its sort of like in Spring when you smell the first fresh cut grass and it gets you excited for Summer.
I just love Fall, that means so many fun things are coming up.... my birthday, which is in 6 days might I add, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the best holliday, Christmas! I noticed the leaves changing when Joe and I drove up to Snowbird to go to Octoberfest. It was beautiful!
It seems like Fall is the fastest season, I think Winter pushes its way in way too fast, so enjoy the Fall while you can!

Octoberfest 2008

Its already October, I can't even believe it! Joe has been talking about going to Octoberfest at Snowbird since he heard about it in like June! So we finally went. I was fun, Joe got some beer, it was actually really good. He got a little cheesy mug that says Octoberfest 2008 on it, its cute.

We saw the Winsenreids, I haven't seen them for so long and Joe has never met them before so we chatted with them for a while. We walked around and ate some german food, it was actually really good. i got some chicken that was like an ENTIRE chicken with this cheese sauce on it. I'm not really sure what Joe got, but it was really good anyway!

There were all these little vendors there. There was this certain one that stood out. All the stuff these people were selling were straight from Germany. As we were looking we had this little old lady come up to us and start telling us how the Germans take a shot of whiskey and then chug their beer out of their mugs. Joes parents both were stationed in Germany so he knows all about suff like that so him and the little old lady sat and talked for like 10 minutes about drinking. It was entertaining.

After we got done exploring Octoberfest we went for a walk in the little forrest. We had getton some yummy popcorn, it was my popcorn baby.
We came to this little river and Joe decided to show off and cross it on a little tree that had fallen. He did pretty good going across but coming back he didn't do so well.
In the end it was a great day, we had so much fun together. It had been a long time since we had gone out and done something together just the two of us.
